Steamboat Falls

North Umpqua Highway Area, Douglas County, OR

Steamboat Creek curtains over a wide bench into a calm pool. The falls would be slightly more impressive if a fish ladder, which draws off about 20% of the creek, weren't constructed next to the falls. All around the falls are exposed rock slabs.
